Rihanna wears a tiny gold two-piece for a sexy photo shoot on a yacht in Rio

If there is a defining item of clothes that best encapsulates the pop icon that is Rihanna, it has got to be the bikini.

Over the last few weeks, the Bajan singer has rarely been seen out of a skimpy two-piece, and that didn't change on Sunday when she took part in a photo shoot on a luxury yacht in Rio.

Opting for a gold number on this occasion, Rihanna, 25, showed off her enviable physique, and just why the bikini was pretty much made for her.

Her most recent match-up was with Colombian singer Shakira, where Ri-Ri featured on her latest release Can't Remember To Forget You.

Taken from Shakira's upcoming fourth English and overall tenth studio album, the single reached No. 11 on the Official UK Singles Chart, giving the singer-songwriter her 11th UK Top Forty hit and Rihanna her 39th.

Lauren Goodger shows off her curves in tight Lycra as she heads to the gym for first time this year

 Like many of us, January is a time for hitting the gym and starting new diets after the gluttonous Christmas period. However, reality TV star Lauren Goodger ended up resuming her workout routine rather later than usual after suffering from a chest infection over the past couple of weeks. The former TOWIE star was obviously feeling much better on Tuesday as she headed to her local gym ready for feel the burn.

Wearing a pair of black leggings, fitted beige top and platform trainers, Lauren was raring to go as she parked her car and headed into the building. When she eventually started her workout, Lauren tweeted she had been listening to Beyonce Knowles' new album Beyonce on her iPod. She tweeted: 'Out on a run 2 ma song.' Over the past week, Lauren revealed she had been battling a chest infection and had been on a course of antibiotics.

Despite her previous rivalry with former TOWIE co-star Sam Faiers over their ex-boyfriend Mark Wright, Lauren has been cheering her on during Celebrity Big Brother. She tweeted earlier this week: 'Need catch up on @BBUKLive heard it's a good one and I think @SamanthaFaiers doing really well #ourEssexGirl.' Lauren is newly single after ending her one year romance with Jake McLean in early December. She also hit the headlines at the end of last year after posting worrying tweets about her insecurity over her body.

In October after she declared she hadn't eaten in three days after seeing some unflattering photos of herself taken on a night out. She tweeted: 'Haven't eaten for 3 days not stopping until I get left the hell alone ! I don't think I look like they make out but I'm going be so skinny! But Vanessa Hudgens pulled it off with aplomb on Sunday night, as she attended the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globes afterparty. The 25-year-old actress looked incredible in a plunging metallic dress as she posed up on the red carpet at the bash.

 

The former High School Musical star dazzled in the gown, which highlighted her toned figure and flashed a generous amount of flesh. Vanessa teamed the gown with twisted drop earrings and heavy eye make-up, wearing her raven hair slick and straight in a side parting. However, Vanessa suffered a near wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet when the bottom of her dress started to unravel - with a large piece of thread seen on the red carpet.  The Only Way is Essex beauty, Billie Faiers is reportedly 'expecting her first child' in the early part of the summer with her long-term partner Greg Shepherd.

Her businessman boyfriend, who doesn't star on the ITV2 reality show and the couple 'can't wait' to meet their baby.
A source told The Sun's Colin Robertson: 'Billie and Greg are over the moon. They’ve been a couple for two years now and love each other to bits.

 All her friends and family, and especially her sister Sam are said to be made up for the star.

She recently quit the TV show which made her famous in order to pursue new ventures, but it seems that old habits die hard for Lucy Mecklenburgh.

The stunning brunette, who was launched into the public consciousness via The Only Way Is Essex, has capped 2013 with a daring photoshoot.

Posing in just her underwear, the shoot - which took place in central London - is themed around the metaphor of her welcoming in new year...in just her underwear.

Sporting an impressive December tan, the Essex-born star is seen wearing a black and silver bra with black knickers and a seductive pair of suspenders.

Upping the appeal even further, she wears them with a pair of dramatic leather-effect knee-high boots while clutching a bottle of champagne.

Complete with alluring make-up and her hair in a retro bouffant, she is clearly an ambassador for her own bootcamp business, which is set to go mainstream in January.

Her workout company, Results With Lucy, is the main focus of her efforts since leaving TOWIE in a dramatic Christmas episode.

Speaking in an interview with TV Extra magazine, she said: 'I've always been quite happy with my body but more so now, because anything I didn't like I've trained hard to change.

'I don't just sit on my a**e, eat what I want and expect my body to be nice. I work hard. Everyone has body insecurities when they're younger.

'If I wore jeans, I'd have to wear long tops that came past my bum because I thought my hips were huge.'

Lucy, who already has a hot modelling contract up her sleeve for 2014, is also hoping to snag a boyfriend over the next 12 months.

Speaking to New magazine she said: 'I'd like a boyfriend and to fall in love next year. I'm just a needy person. I like a cuddle and attention, so it's hard.

Getting ready for bikini body! Gemma Merna heads to the gym as she gets in shape ahead of Splash

It's the time of year that sees most of the nation slacking on their gym attendance and diet plans as they enjoy a spot of festive over-indulgence.

But Gemma Merna was hard at work ensuring her bikini body is in tip-top shape ahead of her debut on Splash! in just a few days' time as she headed for a workout on Monday morning.

The Hollyoaks actress seemed to be in good spirits as she arrived at her local gym in Liverpool, showcasing her naturally flawless skin by going make-up free as she made her way inside.

Evidently keen to make sure she looks as good as possible when she hits TV screens across the country in unforgiving Lycra, the 29-year-old soap star looked happy at the prospect of a gruelling morning at the gym.

And it would seem the actress was well-versed on the importance of maintaining a good level of hydration during exercise, and was carrying a large bottle of water as she headed inside for her session. It appears Gemma was hard at work for the day, and was praised by her personal training group, Evolution Fitness Professionals, for her dedication. Re-posting a message on her Twitter page, the congratulatory tweet to Gemma said: 'Post xmas pre new sessions all day well done the dedicated @gemmamerna @kevg1587 & everybody else not skiving till new year!'

Gemma has previously admitted she sticks to a healthy eating regime, as well as yoga and pilates sessions to stay in shape. She told the Daily Express: 'For breakfast I'll have vegetables in with my egg white scramble. For dinner, I'll have chicken, fish or steak with vegetables stir–fried in coconut oil. 'I do hot yoga and Pilates, swim, walk my two St Bernard dogs and go to the gym.

'I do interval training: run as fast as you can for 20 seconds, walk for 10 seconds, then 20 seconds fast running. In four minutes you burn as many calories as in a 20–minute jog.' Gemma will compete in the celebrity diving show alongside TV presenter Michaela Strachan, Diversity dancer Perri Kiely, former Eastenders actor Ricky Groves, TOWIE's Gemma Collins and The Saturdays singer Una Foden. This year sees Frankie Sandford return to the fold as she performs with The Saturdays for the first time following the birth of son Parker in October.

Wearing distinctive black and peach outfits, the girls took to the Top of the Pops stage as a five-piece to perform What About Us at the pre-recorded show earlier this month.

Rochelle Humes ensured she stood out thanks to the plunging chest detail of her stylish, figure hugging basque top for what amounted to The Saturdays’ final performance of the year.

The ensemble showed off a generous portion of her cleavage – but its plunging design was rivalled by the peach coloured dress worn by Vanessa White.

Performing at the tail end of a successful 12-months, during which they released fourth studio album Living for the Weekend, the band were pictured giving each other high-fives as their performance came to an end.

Returning Frankie later admitted she was thrilled to be back at work after taking maternity leave to give birth to her first child with fiancé Wayne Bridge.
