Duchess of Cambridge attended annual SportsAid Gala

The Duchess of Cambridge selected a dark Alice Temperley dress for the twelve-month Sportsaid Gala dark tie raising support supper in London on Thursday night.

Kate met with a lists of yearning competitors and exhibited the One-to-Watch Award at the occasion held at Super Nova, a pop-up venue in the Victoria Embankment Gardens.



Sportsaid is a foundation that helps sprouting sportspeople. A benefactor of the philanthropy, Kate joined in a Sportsaid workshop in October where she played volleyball in her 5-inch Stuart Weitzman shoes.

Amanda Holden looks like a princess at the Animal Heroes Awards

Amanda Holden looked every bit the fairy princess as she arrived to the Animal Heroes Awards on Thursday night.

The Britain's Got Talent judge wore a white and sequined gown with a layered skirt and racer-back neck, to attend the star-studded event at the Langham Hotel in London.

Amanda was the main host for the event to celebrate heroic animals and their handlers.

On her way to the event, Amanda tweeted: 'Looking forward to hosting the Daily Mirror RSPCA Animal Hero Awards tonight!! X'.

Guests included Sarah Harding, Pussycat Dolls Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, EastEnders star Shona McGarty and a host of other celebrities.

At the event guests were given toy animals to take home, and Amanda made sure she got her hands on a few.
